    My silly old dude

Technically it's not a great shot, but it's one of the few pictures I've ever taken of Hobo that captures his personality.

He is a 45 pound ball of joy! He is 14 1/2 years old; his vision is fading; he is stone cold deaf; he doesn't move anywhere near as fast as he used to; he is totally senile! He forgets where the door is, gets lost in the yard! He is unbothered by the failings of his mind and body! When he gets confused, he just sits down and barks until I come get him. He greets every little thing with unbridled enthusiam. He delights in the most simple of things, even a bowl full of the same kibble he's eaten every night for months is cause for the Hobo Dance of Joy. He is and has always been the happiest creature to ever draw breath. I often suspect Hobo was sent to remind me to enjoy the little things!

I beg to differ. That is a FABULOUS photo. You've captured the "soul" of dear, sweet, goofy Hobo. Thank you for sharing it. Please give him a hug from me.
