I'm so, so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved furmate and friend Rübe. What a very sad time that must have been, for you and your person. But hopefully now, with another furry cagemate to bond with, play with and love, your heart is healing! Your young person is one very selfless soul, sacrificing her own needs, not having you there with her every day, in order to assure your happiness! Now that is what I call unconditional love (and hopefully you and she get to visit often)!
