Blaze Kills 60 Cats At Pet Sanctuary In California

What a shame. A electrical fire in a no kill shelter (last hope cat kingdom) in atwater, ca killed 60 cats & many of them were older cats that lived their for a long time. Firefighters did save 200 cats.

Im hoping (such as it is) that the cats were not burned alive but im sure (unfortunately) that some were.

May the deceased cats RIP & have all completed their journey to the rainbow bridge.

OMG, Atwater is not far from me. We have to associations out there that we manage at my work. I am so sad.
It does state they died from smoke inhalation, so I am thinking none of them actually burned.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Oh, I am so very sorry. Rest in peace, beautiful beloved kitties, and my deepest sympathy to all who love you so much. And may the survivors recover from this trauma.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
