Terry(Daisy & Delilah)Says Hi

Terry has asked me to say Hi to all her Pet Talk friends.She has a hard time just to get to the computer.Terry had surgery scheduled for May 18th but had to be postponed.The hospital needs $12,000 just to get started since she had no Insurance.Terry has since applied for the pre-existing condition insurance from Obama's healthcare plan.She said it is expensive but will be a lot less than paying for it herself.The doctor is going to do a bone graft on her leg bone.They install a cadaver bone with a titanium plate,screws and wire to hold it,very expensive.She can only move around in her wheelchair.She has a lot of pain and sleeps a lot due to pain medication.Her mom is dong well in the assisted living facility where they placed her.Terry said she will go and see her once a week if someone can take her there.She misses everyone and hopes to be on Pet Talk very soon. Terry says as soon as her insurance goes through,she will have the surgery.She says she has learned to appreciate everything we have and everything we can do,one day it might be gone.

Please tell Terry that I was asking for her and wishing her well. I sure do miss her - she's is one of the sweetest PT members ever!

I just got a PM from Terry(Daisy & Delilah),she says she is still waiting to hear form the insurance company so they can go ahead with the surgery.She thanks everyone for the well wishes.

I just got a message from Terry last night,she is still waiting for the surgery,she expects to get the letter she needs for the insurance by next week,All she can do now is watch TV all day.She tells me to say hi to all her friends on Pet Talk.
