    rainbow bridge pets

I thought it might be nice to make a thread with the names of all the pets that have gone to Rainbow Bridge this year, for those that wish to list their pets names...I know Wayne 0214 has lost 3 cats recently, and there are several others that have lost their furbabies.

Ok, he wasn't mine, he was my friend's, but I bird-sitted him, so I loved him just the same.

I miss her soooo much! I'm crying right now.

Do any of you know any pet loss sites?? I need some support right now! I'm also looking for stories about how some people see their pets, after they cross the bridge, like at night. Thanks.

Wow ... let's see how good my memory is ... and this should be rather telling as to what an OLD bat I am quickly becoming ....

Drawstring - dauchshund (sp?) - my first pet! - 1975

    Blood - English cocker spaniel - 1987

    Snow - American Eskimo mix - 1989

    Sadie - Basset hound - 2000
"We give dogs the time we can spare, the space we can spare and the love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made" - M. Facklam

"We are raised to honor all the wrong explorers and discoverers - thieves planting flags, murderers carrying crosses. Let us at last praise the colonizers of dreams."- P.S. Beagle

"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king." - J.R.R. Tolkien

I lost one of my foster babies this year. She has been in a ditch and was covered with mud and ants when I got her and her brother. I cleaned her up but couldn't get her to eat at all. She had a deformity and by the next day was dying quickly She was put to sleep to end her suffering. Even though I only had her for a night, I grew deeply attached to her and sat up all night with her wrapped in a blanket on my chest. I cried for so long for her. She was beautiful.
