    The Time Has Come...

My new puppy was born today!!!! Sometime between 1 am and 3 pm. Mommy had to be taken to the vet because she was having trouble birthing and in the process, puppy 1 and 6 didn't make it. I believe the birthing was still done naturally, no need for C-section even with complications... whatever they were. So there are five puppies for me to choose from... eventually. 3 boys and 2 girls. Liver spotted and black spotted available. I only have one pic sent to me on my phone, but she will be putting more up tomorrow after a long needed nap. lol I am so happy my baby made it here. I have first pick! I am sooo excited. Here is the picture she sent me.

Awww, congratulations! The pups don't have any spots yet, how do they know which ones will be liver-spotted and which black spotted at this point?

Can actually sometimes tell on the skin, but I believe usually they go by the nose pigment (liver and black noses) Sometimes on the dark livers it's hard to tell if they are liver or black so they kind of guess on those ones. But mama was a lighter liver so the pups might be too.

Oh Delta, you have NO IDEA what your mommy has in store for you! Your whole world is about to change, in 3 months (give or take). Sweet girl, ha haaa.

Now this puppy, look at that litter! How sad 2 didn't make it, but the rest, paws crossed all goes well from now on! WOO HOO!!

Awwww!!! Do you know what you will pick? Black or Liver? Male or Female?
    So exciting!!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

    I don't know I don't know! Lol

I am preferable to the blacks, but if there is a gorgeous liver that has the light liver coloring of the mom, I will certainly take one of those. Lol I'm not too big on the dark livers. I am open to male or female, but I think Zac and I want to try out a male. It's really hard for me to say because this will be a conformation dog, so I will take the best formed dog, but I also want a good performance dog also, so I have a couple of tests lined up to do to the pups. I have first pick... so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. :-D

Lol, yes, I asked. That's the only one she can't tell apart. She said she'll be adding them later so everyone else can identify them.
