Baby Chip is at the white coats -HE'S HOME

Thursday I took Chip in to see his vet because he just wasn't acting like himself. He ate and drank and did the potty things all ok but he just was not wanting to play.

Turned out he had a temp of 105.5, very high for a cat. They started him on meds but he just is not getting better. This morning he would just barely lick his food. Since our bus doesn't run on weekends, I had no way to get him to the vet. They came and picked him up and took him in.

The vet just called. His temp is still way high. It's 105.2. They are keeping him over the weekend to try and get his temp down. They don't want him going into convulsions which could happen if they don't get the temp down.

They are putting a stuffed animal in with him to help him not be so lonesome. I am lonesome though. All he wanted to do was lay on me lately. Still I know he is where he needs to be right now.

He had a high fever before. June 9th I think it was. Maybe that didn't get all cleared up or something and is back now worse. Well, I am just rambling.
Please say a prayer for my boy.

Prayers and healing energies are being sent for Chip. May he soon be back in fine form.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

I will keep Chip in my thoughts today and hope for a speedy recovery.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

It's so hard to see our pets get sick but seeing a little one I think is even harder. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way. Please take care and continue to keep us updated about him.

Chip is so lucky that his Meeowmie is alert and got him to his White Coats right away when she noticed that he was not well
As it turned out that was a good decision and Chip's healer can nip this in the bud and help Chip back on the road to good health

Prayers going up for Chip...I hope they have started him on some antibiotics. Owen had a high fever around 6 months old of 105 and after a round of antibiotics he was good to go.
