The past 2 days I've taken the dogs down to the Mississippi for a swim.
The Thursday was Bull & Duke. (Katie was going to go too but she was mad I wouldn't let her drive and decided to stay home.)

Duke got in the river then decided it was time to go.

Today was Lappy and Katie's turn. (They also didn't try to run as much so there are more pictures of them.)
Lappy's first time seeing the river.

And got stuck in Gumbo mud.

As you can see from the pictures Lappy does not. He thinks the only good water is coming from a hose or in a bowl in his eyes. Maybe it's the Chow or Husky in him.Originally Posted by anna_66
