Mini cat+ mini human= maxi cat lover...and dog lover too! Updated #22

We recently visited some friends who have adopted a kitten. He's name is Muse and he is partly Chartreux. My daughter loved him! She loves all cats, but this one was her size and she could hold him, so she was so happy giving kisses and cuddles

    First let me introduce Muse:

His look says "give me a kiss" doesn't it?

    Then Valentine giving him kisses:

    So proud to hold him:

Little problem with the butt...always tended to fall...

    And falling even more

    More in next post....

The next day, there was improvement in butt holding:

Do you want to come home with me Muse?

There are two other adult cats in the house. I could only take pics of one, the other one was a bit shy, especially with the camera. So, this is Monk, the male cat:

    Kissing session with Monk:

I think we have a new cat lover here!

This thread needs a cuteness warning: your daughter is such a sweet little girl. Her and Muse are a wonderful play and cuddle team. A pity that he couldn't go home with you but if he was mine I wouldn't let him either
BTW to me he looks more like a Russian Blue with his delicate features. I always thought Chartreux were more like British Shorthair

Now that is such a wonderful Dynamic Duo, Your Sweet Daughter and Muse make a Graet Team, and its clear that she knows how to pick up Muse and is very careful with him.
Monk looks more cautious , but Love and TLC will always win the Day.

Thank you for the nice comments

Barbara, I, too, was a bit surprised about the Chartreux mix. My friends were told by the people they got the kitty from that he was partly Chartreux. Perhaps they don't really know about it. And also, Russian Blue are VERY rare in France while Chartreux are more common. So it might be the reason why they thought he was partly Chartreux. The chance that momcat has met a Russian Blue is very tiny. I am curious to see how he will look when he will be adult. Anyway, I agree he is gorgeous. We tried to steel him, but not success

Oh, and Valentine is a dog lover too I should post some pics one day, with my parents's dog...

Super sweet photos! And I love the name Muse for a cat. "Valentine's Muse" would be a lovely title for a children's book, don't you think?

Adorable photos! The ones where the butt is hanging down; Muse looks like he's saying, someone, please rescue my tail!

    Indeed!
I think they chose the name Muse from the British Rock band though...

It's funny isn't it? The more she was trying to squeeze him the more Muse was falling But we were all here to be sure she would not hurt him

For the fans, here is the proof that Valentine is ALSO a dog lover (OK, I know the yellow beast in the picture is not a cat , sorry to put this in the same thread but these are 1 year-old pictures, so I don't want to start a new thread with it...)

This is my parents' dog, Sarah, photos taken summer 2009, we should go again soon, so perhaps we'll have new pics

I love the picture of your daughter standing on the left, and Sarah sitting on the right! She is a dog AND cat lover for sure!
