    Dishwasher Recall

I saw this a few days ago on the internet so I finally had some time to check it out. I bought a Maytag dishwasher in Sept.2008 and I called the number and yes it's on the recall list. I do have a few options so I have to do some research to see what would be best for me. It seems like too many things are being recalled these days. Here's the article:

I wish they'd recall my dishwasher.
I could pack her bag and get her into a taxi within an hour.

But then not only would you miss her, you'd have to do yer own dishes!

I would return it, kak, a potential house fire is not worth the risk to you or the kitties!

There is nothing more homier then a women in the kitchen slamming the dishes around getting them clean while the old man is sitting on the computer playing card games.

    Yep........gotta agree with that one.

This is what I'm planning on doing. After the water damage problems I've had in the past, I certainly don't need to have a fire now too. I've been researching the different models but I can't seem to find MDB7759 any place. Even when I search for it and click on the link, I still can't find it. They may have already discontinued it.

Many people are very upset that to get the rebate you still have to purchase another Maytag. So far mine has been working well and I live in an area with very hard water so I must have a dishwasher that has the high temperature wash option which most do now any way. Wish me luck.

Yes, but if you use those, then you have to take out the trash more often! Plus it gets expensive after a while ...

Hey - you could just open a can - eat the contents and then you would only have a spoon to wash. But, that might be too much trouble for you.
