Oh my! He's a lot of fluffy cat to love. I agree with the others - he knows your his meowmie. Give him time and he will worm his way into your heart too - they do that so sneakily!

Dear Merlin, how handsome you are! Excellent work on the linen closet, too! All I have in my linen closet is... linens. Your coat is so long and pretty. I hope you will have a very happy life! Mmwah!

Oh how sweet! My RB Peeka loved to hang out in the linen closet. I learned to always keep it open b/c that was her safe place. Merlin has claimed his space, it seems. He's a gorgeous boy and I can tell that he's thinking "At last I've found my perfect human and home!" I'm happy for you, Slick.
    Blessings,

He is so adorable, Slick, and it really does look like he has settled in nicely.

As for not being your heart cat....give him time, he just got home!

Merlin, sweetheart, you are GORGEOUS! You were sneaked home while I was away and not here to greet you instantly! I hope you forgive me, and I hope you pose for more photos soon.

    Welcome to a wonderful home!

My gosh, look how LONG he is! And he made sure that tail was fully fluffed and stretched out as well. ELONGATED is the word popped into my mind. He wants to take over that entire shelf!

He sure is handsome, lucky boy, Merlin!

Good job, Merlin! That closet looks fine.

Oh, he looks so contented, so mellow and so at-home. He's right where he should be!

Merlin, what is this I heard about you and Sparkler dancing the night away on Victoria Day??? Are you and my little girl an Item now?
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"

Merlin says thanks and purrs for your comments. Yes, he has a rather long body - longer than I've ever seen in a cat.

The thing I love about him is that he's not camera shy like Max was. I have hundreds of pictures of him on my home computer and a couple of movies too but I have to go back and ready Tubby & Peanut's "posting movies 101" thread.

Since coming back from his trip he just stares out the window. I'm thinking that he's lovesick for his precious Sparkler.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Too bad you don't live closer. I could give him a little brother to keep him company!
