In honor of Mother's Day, I thought it would be nice for everyone to post a picture of their mom and maybe a favorite time or memory. So whether she's in a special part of your memory or if you're fortunate enough to still have her with you, post your pics. I have one I can add later tonight or tomorrow. She has dementia now. This picture was back before she got so bad. She is one of the most awesome people I've ever known. She is my hero.

I don't have any pics online since she passed away some time ago. I do plan on taking flowers to her graveside tomorrow. I have a lot of fond memories but her best qualities were her sense of humor and her love of people. She never met a stranger.

She still works out, has a very keen mind, and I am so so glad that she is still with me!

I don't have a pic of my mum online, but she is alive and well and enjoying life in a wonderful home near the beach. She says that she likes to live alone now that dad has gone....so we just visit now and again, and let her get on with life.
I will tell you a memory of mine tho............

In 1960 my mother took me to day one of High School for the first day induction. I was 12 years old and my mother was 28 years old.....yep...my mother was 16 when I was born.
A very cheeky schoolteacher came up to me and whispered in my ear if I would kindly introduce him to my sister.

I love seeing all the other moms, too. Happy Mother's Day to the moms still with us, and those who have passed on...and to the daughters who are mothers too.
