Hello Tasha! What a lovely beagle lady you are. Seems you landed in the perfect home for you, too.

My Tasha is a puppy mill rescue, so she has a similar background to yours. She was 4 when she was rescued, and I adopted her. That was just one year ago. She has made lots of progress in one year.

And there you are, living and loving life the way it was meant to be for a sweet lady. I am so happy you have this extra thing to celebrate as you are Dog of the Day!

Hello there beautiful Beagle girl Tasha!!! Happy Dog of the Day to you!

Oh, there is something about a Beagle that just melts my heart! And you beautiful Tasha girl are a heart melter and heart stealer without equal! It's heartbreaking, reading how many "homes" you had to endure during your young life, how many so called families claimed you as their own, only to end up surrendring you. Yes, you have certainly had to endure your fair share of loneliness and neglect early on. But in the end, that indomitable canine spirit of yours prevailed! It never ceases to amaze me how neglected and abused pups can learn to love and trust again! All it takes is a little time, patience and love; a truly caring and committed human, right Tasha? Happily that would be your fate, and it wasn't long after finding your special person that the memory of all of those unhappy days would slowly but surely fade away. Dogs are such sensitive, intuitive beings, and you sweetheart knew the moment you spotted that quilt, your quilt, that you were home to stay!

Congratulations on being chosen our EXTRA special and MOST deserving, Sunday honoree, sweet baby girl!
