    Pictures of the Goldfish <3

    Hi Everyone!

It's been a very very long time since I posted pictures of my goldfish. A long time ago I use to post pictures of them all the time, specially when I had my beautiful Queen. Anyways, it's been awhile, so I have some different goldfish, but a couple of the same that you would remember from before.

    Here they are:

First is Chubby of course. This is the same Chubby I had years ago when use to post pictures, he is still kicking, and he changed to alot more whiter:

And this fish's name is Babyface...he is cute and likes to be at the top of the tank alot:

This is Chubby Jr., I believe I had him when I use to post pictures, I have had him for I think almost 2 years now...he is still small and hasn't grown much:

lol, it likes like he is giving yer de eye in this picture:

    more to come...

This fish's name is Nightwish and she was found by my fiance. She is the prettiest Black Moor I have ever seen. She has the longest fins:

This fish is called Bubbles...also found by my fiance...he is a fatty but such a happy fish:

And last but not least is Happy Fins...I love Happy Fins so much, and he has a problem which I don't think I can fix. He has lots of stresslines in his back fins, and they seem to have developed after his cap got so large. The cap on his head has grown so so large, that it covers most of his eyes..he can just barely see through a slit where his pupil can see...I don't know what to do..I can't cut his cap off. It makes it hard for him to eat too because he can't see very well.

Well, there are all the fishies! Here are a couple pics of the tank. This is the left side of the tank:

And the right side...where Chubby is being a loner:

    The Whole Tank:

One last picture with some of the fish together. That's Bubbles, Babyface, and Chubby Jr.

    There, I'm finally done!
    Hope you enjoyed!

I have not had fish as pets for quite some time. Seeing your pics makes me want to have them again. They are beautiful! The first pic of Chubbie...I love his face! And Chubby, Jr. is very pretty with his bright orangeness.

When my kids were little we had lots of fish. They all had names and some were quite unique. We had one fish called Periwinkle because his color reminded me of the crayon periwinkle. His nickname was Perry. Then we had two algae eaters, Al and Aunt Al.

Thanks for posting the lovely photos!

Thanks so much for the compliments on my fishies

I can't remember when I didn't own fish lol. Chubby and Chubby Jr. I love so so much, they are just the cutest, and Chubby is my oldest in the tank He is quite the loner but he loves food :P

Fish always bring me a sort of peace and when I watch them I feel less stressed

Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do about Happy Fin's problem? I looked at him intensly last night and noticed that he has lost a lot of weight, and its because he can't eat very much at all because he can't see. He doesn't even go to the top anymore because he can't see the food around him.

Last night I put a sinking pellet in and tried to aim it for right in front of his face...and only because he was going crazy at the rocks is why he actually got it.

It's sad Like I said, I can't chop off his big cap so I'm at a lost for suggestions, except for picking him up and literally hand feeding him lol

Poor Happy Fins . This may sound extreme but you dont know of a Vet that specialises in fish do you? even though they probably wont realy be able to do anything sadly .

You can put him in a breeding net by himself to feed and pretty much hand feed him?

Your tank looks great, very colourful .

I live in a really small townish type place, I don't think we have those type of vets around here, but I've done alot of vet type things myself for my fish, including handling them when I had too.

Last night I held Happy Fins in my hand under water and put a pellet in his mouth, but he spat it back out He probably was scared and didn't know it was food. So, then I just threw a few sinking pellets in by his face and he managed to eat one. He managed to eat one this morning too, but he is a big size fish and should eat more than one. But one is better than nothing at least.

I miss goldfish. Could you maybe try to find out if there is somebody in your area that can trim wen? See if you have a local aquarium society perhaps and if they have a website you could post an ad.

Thanks for the suggestion IRescue...I actually didn't even know that it was called the 'wen.' I looked it up and now know how the procedure or surgery goes...but I don't think I would want to attempt it myself, although I see that alot of fish owners have done it themselves...I know that Clove Oil puts the fish to sleep, but I don't have painkillers for the fish...though some vets say they don't know if the fish even feels pain there.

I might call around to some vets here and see if they happen to know any fish vets, but I"m pretty sure they are impossible to find here in Nova Scotia lol in my small town but it's worth a try.
