I've ordered some beads with Max's ashes from her and her email back to me said that Earle was sick, but I didn't have time to check it out until now.

T - Many, many prayers for Earl. Come on lil guy, you've got to get over this and eat and drink and return to your happy puppy self.

I hope Earl will get better very soon, and be back with his family this weekend.

    Sending lots of positive thoughts.

Sweet Earl is and always has shown himself to be a gentleman among his family/team of wonder dogs and two-leggers. Keep it going Earl we all love and admire you.

I read on Glacier's Facebook page that Earle is showing improvement, but he needs to eat! PT prayers needed, I think.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

Earle is getting better but needs our thoughts and prayers to get him to EAT. They've tried everything, but he won't chow down. So sending good thoughts about how yummy food is. Come on Earle, dinner!!!!

Thanks everyone & Elyse for letting me know about this thread....

Earle is still at the vet. He is doing better, standing, looks "chipper" according to the on-call doc, but he won't eat. Hasnt eaten for six days. He is drinking on his own now, but still on an IV for more fluids and meds. This morning, the vet said he didn't spit out the food that had a pill hidden in it, but the food had to be actually placed in his mouth. Vet might let Earle come home tonight, although he'll have to go back if he still won't eat even at home.

I'm so sorry to hear about Earle- while it happens that a kitty won't eat it is even more scary if it's a dog- eat sweet boy, eat!

    Poor Earl...

I know how painful pancreatitis is for us humans, so I imagine it's the same for our fur kids. Here's hoping that he starts feeling better and is up to eating real soon.

Maybe he's holding out for some yummy home food. Maybe he will eat when there are more dogs and less humans around? Please Earle, have something. Ice cream? Everyone likes ice cream when they're not well.

Major Breakthrough >>> Earle *ATE* something!!

Dunno what he ate, but it must have qualified as "food" and earned him
    his Pass to Go HOME!
    Earle is Homeward Bound!!

Additional Pawrayers are still needed for a full recovery.

Uhhhh-Ohhhhh ... Well, hope he starts to eat at home.

Still, it's GREAT that he got a Pass outta Jail.

He is home, but he didnt' eat. On-call vet wants to see if being at home will help his appetite...so far it's not, although he is very happy to be here! He's been remarking all his spots in the yard, snapping on the heated dog bed and hanging out with his buddies, who are thrilled to see him.

He's not allowed any treats or extra yummy food. He will never be allowed anything with much fat in it ever again. His diet will be strictly controlled for the rest of his life. He will not survive another attack of this; he's already at extremely high risk of developing diabetes from this attack. He's eaten gastro formula food before quite happily. He's not fussy at all when he's feeling good. He'll be going back to the clinic if he doesn't start to eat within 24 -36 hours at homes.
