I can't tell you how touched I was reading your heart warming, inspirational story, Cassie. I'm so very sorry for your injury, but so grateful for those wonderful firemen who came to your aide, and to your wonderful family, who opened up their home and hearts to such a deserving doggie! How blessed they have been to have known your love and friendship over these many years! I don't know who's smiling more broadly in that photo, you or your Daddy! But it's clear he found his life long soul mate and best friend in you, and you in him! I hope this day finds you and he well; that you both, along with the rest of your family, and all of your no doubt countless friends and fans, enjoy the happiest day of celebration!
