    Penny Lane - Gone but not forgotten

    I don't know many people on here any more, and I haven't been back in a while, but I did want to let everyone who remembers her that my Penny Lane passed away from cancer a few weeks ago.

    She was diagnosed with mammary cancer last March. We had all her tumors removed and we hoped that it had not spread any further, but unfortunately it had. I'll never regret getting surgery for her as it allowed me to spend a few extra months with her, but finally her poor little body just gave out. She passed peacefully in my home as I'm a firm believer that all dogs should pass in an environment where they feel the most comfortable and secure. I think my Penny girl just didn't want to go through another cold, hard, Buffalo winter.

    I do remember you, and Penny Lane. I am so sorry to hear this news. I am sure she was much comforted by you at her final hour. RIP, pretty girl.

    We remember you both very well. I'm happy that you were able to spend some more time with her because of the surgery. I'm sure it's time you'll never forget.

    Rest in peace, dear sweet Penny Lane. I am glad that you got to stay at home in a very loving environment until the very last day.........You'll never be forgotten. Maybe you and Sandi are playing together at the Rainbow Bridge right now as I am writing this. Have fun, and someday you'll see you human Mommy coming for you to be with you forever and ever and ever.
