[Scooter's Mom]

It's surreal. I knew taking him in to the vet today would have this result. I'm just so... lost. The tumor/mass they suspected in December was a reality. He was turning yellow (his eyes, gums, in his ears). I couldn't let him continue and suffer.

You were the one constant in my life for so many years. My divorce, moving to Arizona, losing my mom... you were my best friend. My only friend for a while.

I will never love another kitty like I do you. You were my scooter snugglebug.

I hope meme (my mom) was there to greet you. She loved you so much, her darling grand-kitty... be happy and wait for mommy. Some day I will see you again, and you will get to snuggle onto my shoulder and bury your nose in my hair like you so loved to do.
