That went well. Mum in Law says she'll help out all the time, just doesn't want to interfere or cross the line. Not a clue what that means. No way does she want to stay anywhere else. She loves and adores both of us madly and all will be well. Pretty sure that means she'll just buy me lots of stuff, drink more and try to stop eating off plates. Thanks for listening people, I apologize for carrying on so. Thanks again.

There's no way to address this that won't be offensive to some, but I don't care. There are some folks that spend inordinate amounts of cash on pets that are clearly very ill. I just want people who aren't flush, to maybe think about their own health and perhaps keeping some scratch in case they need to spend some on their own healthcare and well being. Just a thought pet lovers.

Is this a response to Pettalk members posting about their sick pets?

Husband and I both got flu shots today. Just a reminder in case anyone forgets. I know some people don't get them. I respect those who choose not too but for those who do.... sometimes we forget. I haven't had the flu for at least 12 yrs. I started getting the flu vaccination. The last time was SO brutal. Wouldn't wish that on many folks. Okay, maybe D.T. Definately D.T.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to all the Veterans and their families before it's too late. Thank you for your service, bravery and sacrifice. You are the best of the best.

You know you are on the cats poop list when... you go to change the bedding and they are both sound asleep on the bed. 😾🙀🙄

Oh, autumn in Chicago. Friday afternoon, 50 degrees F and rain forecast for this evening. Skip ahead to Sunday evening, 36 degrees with 3 to 6 inches of snow predicted. Just in time for Monday morning rush. I don't like driving in the snow!

    Be safe, Elyse!
We are getting cold rain right now, it's about 35 degrees. I wouldn't mind some snow.

    Sock trouble

First, it's almost impossible to find well fitting socks.
Second, to make it worse, every pair I buy, is tied together with those annoying little plastic thingy tabs.
I stocked up on socks today, three sets with each two or tree pairs.
When I got home, I took a deep breath, got a pair of scissors and sat down. I started to cut the plastic tabs, very carefully, to separate the socks. Each tab was entangled in the sock fibers, as to annoy me even further.
One set had tabs on the toes, heels and top!!!
I bet it was faster to manufacture the socks than untangling them! Is this supposed to discourage shoplifters? Or potential customers?
Those socks better be the most perfect fitting socks ever!!!
