Ok... some of you remember Bob and his metamorphis from a multicolored marbled pup with a medium length coat. Well, he turned out to be this shaggy mutt - pretty much blond colored. We got a DNA test kit from friends for Christmas - sort of a running joke as everyone who meets Bob wants to know what kind of dog he is. It is just what you think it would be, You cotton swab some cheek cells and send them to a lab and some 2-3 weeks latter they send you back any matches they may find. Very scientific, they want you to separate the dog (if you have other dogs) for at east an hour from the others before testing and also make sure that he has a clean unused drinking bowl that you make sure he has drinken from before testing.We will let you know the results.
