I am going to apply for a PhD program in Curriculum & Instruction. I have everything ready except my statement of goals. I'm drawing a blank! I mean, I know I need to explain why I want to pursue a PhD in education and all that, but how do I convince the admissions committee that I am the best student to do so?
I don't know how much emphasis this school places on the essay, but I'm hoping it will make up for my mediocre GRE scores (I took it 4 years ago and just can't deal with taking it again).
What kind of things should I include? Any other advice?
Thanks!
