Good gracious, they certainly need a good trim! You can only barely see even a face on several of them! There's half a sweater worth of wool on just one bunny, I bet!

That's a first for me, never heard of Angora rabbits before. I'm not sure what to make of them either....cute in a way I guess if I could see more face.

Well, there are French Angora and English Angora rabbits......And they do NOT all look like that! These have an extreeme amount of hair (just like a good coated show dog (a Pekingese, for example) would probably have more hair than a pet of the same breed)

I showed rabbits MANY years ago, and I have never seen any with such hair.

    Exactly - those are extreme!

Lucy is a more typical Angora - fluffy, but still obviously a bunny rabbit!

Are there really rabbits in there? That's insane, it must be a major pain for the rabbits.

I don't feel sorry for them but even the rabbit Lucy is something I've never seen. The only rabbits I've ever spotted were the wild ones in the bush and they don't come close to looking like these.

Does the bunny's coat grow like that (in the link Jen posted)? Or is it fluffed / teased for photos? Lucy the bunny's coat looks sooooooo soft!

Angora bunnies NEED to be brushed, or their coat will tangle. I suspect those bunnies were fluffed extra high for the show, and trimmed down once show season ended, and the trimming used to make wonderfully soft yarn!
