It's a parody of romance shows likes The Bachelor. One dog is a millionaire and gets to pick his mate from ten bit...uh, female dogs. The characters are all parodies of real people, like Angelina Jolie, Rihanna, and Sarah Palin.
After the episode, there's a blurb about the American Human Association and the North Shore Animal League, so they might be producing the show.
I think it's pretty cool.
