The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Spc. Brandon M. Kirton, 25, of Centennial, Colo., died May 18, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire and mortar rounds.
