My girls hunting a moth (pics)

A couple of nights ago, there was a big moth in my bedroom. Imagine how excited Luna and Lily were! They even climbed the shelf to reach it!

Luna, trying to reach the moth:

Lily, staring up to the ceiling:

Later that night, I heard them chewing, so I guess they eventually caught the poor insect...

any time my boys enter a room, they almost always check the ceiling right off the bat. There was one time Toby was chasing a bug in the office. It eventually flew into another room, but for like 2 days he kept looking for it on the office ceiling.

Does Luna and Lily talk to the bugs? Taz and Paizly do. Paizly talks to the birds through the windows too. hee hee
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Your kitties must be so delicate, Kirsten. Mine are like bulls in a china shop. I dread to think what that shelf would look like by now if it was in my house.
    Blessings,

Wow! Lily and Luna, you both are so brave protecting Meowmie from that silly moth. I'l bet that moth didn't know what he was in for by taking you girls on. Concatulations on a job well done!
Sending both of you lots of lovies and smoochies

LOL...that is a familar site. Tink had a huge beautiful moth yesterday cornered on the windowsill. She tortured the poor thing for about 10 minutes until she finally ate it. The moths must be very tasty because they never give up on pursuing them.

Your kitties must have been so careful trying not to knock over anything on your shelves. Good job, girls!

The old "Bug Stare Down!".. All of us know it well! If there is a dreaded bug in the house, our kitties are fast to respond to save us! Lily & Luna, saved the day!

    GREAT pictures! LOL! (and funny)

Beautiful hunters! Mom can sleep safe
Jasmine is a good bug hunter too! It's amazing how high she can jump (despite her fatty belly ). Unfortunately she also tries catching bees in the garden

They are very skillful hunters so usually they don't knock over things. It's truly amazing!

And yes, they make these little sounds while they are staring a bug down.

From time to time, Giz thinks she sees something moving on the wall or celing when there is actually nothing there and it is so darn funny watching her look for something that she thinks she saw! (and she don't give up to easy either!)

Tinky does this too. This time of year she is always on the hunt for bugs, especially at night when it is dark in the house an the bugs radiate to the lights. I love watching her too and listening to her talk to the bugs.
