My best friend lost her husband today.

A widow at age 20, with a 1 1/2 year old daughter, my best friend is now on her own. Her husband died early this morning in a car crash, he hit head on with someone else and was pronounced dead on the scene. My friend was a stay at home mom, he worked. She has no idea were to go from here. She is an excellent person, a loving mother, a loyal wife. She had been through so much through her life and she had finally found her happily ever after. I was so grateful to him for giving her the happiness she so desired and deserved. And now he's gone, and she's hurting, and because she's hurting I'm hurting. We live over 4 hours from each other so I can't be with her, but I wish I could. I wish I could ease her pain somehow but I know I can't. Her young daughter is without a father. It feels like I'm emotionally connected to her and I can't imagine being happy when she's so upset.

Oh my goodness. I am SO sorry. That is such a tragic and horrible thing. Is there any way you could go visit her for a day or two? I'm sure she'd really like that. If not, you can be there for her in many other ways.

I wish the best for this young lady and her little girl.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I wish I could be there with her. But I have no way to get to where she lives.

My heart goes out to her. Life isn't fair, to take someone so young.

{{{hugs}}} How devastated she must be...I hope in time that she will help her daughter learn about her dad.

    Prayers her way.

So very sorry. It doesn't seem possible at that young age that they can be gone so quickly. I do hope you can go visit your friend, somehow.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Please let her know how many people feel her pain and are sending prayers and love. There is no "happily ever after" only life, one step and a time, one lesson at a time. Knowing that she has a friend like you who loves her will be a consolation. My heart is with you both.

I know how heartbreaking it is to lose your loved one - your friend and her daughter has my deepest sympathy. I hope you can somehow get to visit her, or at least talk over the phone. I'm sure she needs that.

    (((hugs to you)))

Oh my.... how terribly sad. I don't even know what to say. All I can say is that she and her family will most definetly be in my prayers.
