"...I Smell You" Calendar, What breed?

I'm trying to figure out what kind of dog I have!

Does anyone know what breed is in the June 2001 photo of the "If only you knew how much I smell you" calendar?

My dog looks the same but she's mostly reddish brown, white chest, paws, and tip of tail. She sort of has the same coloring and feathering as a Duck Toller but is slighter in build and taller.

The look in the eyes are quite similar to the one in the calendar.

Hi Jeff! Welcome to Pet Talk!! I don't have the calendar either but would love to see your dog! Can you post pics? One of the girls here has a duck tolling retreiver. I'm sure she could be helpful if she could see the pics.

I dont' have the calendar, but do have the book! Does sound similar though to a Brittany Spaniel or a Duck Tolling Retreiver! Can you scan it? I'm going to the book store today, and will check out the calendars. Usually by Jan. the current years' calendars are gone though! How about posting a pic. of your pup?

Thanks for all of your responses! I will try to post a pix or 2.

This was last year's calendar (2001) so it won't be in the stores. I haven't seen the book but the caption under the picture was "Can't you see what I'm trying to tell you? If only you knew how much I smell you." It may be the same in the book.

For those of you who haven't seen the calendar or book, I highly recommend it. This year's calendar is "I am a puppy, hear me yap!". Definitely dog lovers!

I have the books too. I can not remember the name of the photographer and the author, but their work is awesome. I have three of their books on my coffee table. Just love the "I'm a Puppy, Hear Me Yap!"
