For those of you that Don't know me not only do I show in the Conformation ring as a hobby my family collies I also Foster, and restore collies for Tri State Collie Rescue. I always take in the hard cases and restore them back to health using a Holistic High Immune diet along with conventional meds. Anyway I want you to meet Claire my latest project that I am happy to announce will be getting adopted early next month. Claire is from Tennessee and came to us with Demodectic Mange. Here is Clair now and ready for her forever home in Indiana.

Hi Claire! You are lovely and it is great that you are back to health! Your fairy tale is just beginning sweet lady, as you are heading off to a furever home!

You remind me so much of Lassie -- MY Lassie, my first dog, when I was a wee girl of 5.

Is it the angle of her head, or is her snout shorter than some? I swear, in the 35+ years since we had my Lassie, the collie nose has gotten longer and longer, and I don't really care for it. My dog was from someone who did conformation, had a litter of puppies. Lassie was perfect for show except . .. one third eye lid was multi colored, automatic disqualification. She was a super pet!
