    Dog Food Transition?

I just bought a 20 lb bag of Nutro for Large Breed Puppies. I already have a 16 lb bag of Pedigree Puppy that is at least 3/4 full. How long do you think I should make the transition last from Pedigree to Nutro?

It should say it on the back but I would start with a quarter cup in the reg amount he gets and then work your way up from there. Until you are at the amount he is too get of Nutro.

i think it is around 1 to 2 weeks.. you start by mixing 1/4 new to 3/4 old and then slowly keep adding more new.. I think when i did Presley though i did switch over in 7 days and twice i took her off two different brands of food straight away because of bad reactions and put her back on the old stuff that she will probably be on for the rest of her life!!!!
