Its become a nightly ritual around here.... Allen runs from Callie and Callie chases. They ultimately end up on the newel post in the livingroom.

That' so funny. When my mom's doxie Amber was here she would have loved to play with the kitties. But they always did the "ssssxchssch" thing and then poor Amber was scared

LOL, you've got it right! Callie can't figure out why they don't want to be her friend. It might have something to do with the fact that she jumps and chases. Its been 6 months and we're not much closer to a peaceful co-existance than we were in the beginning.
Callie wants to be friends SO bad. There's not a mean bone in her furry little body. Her poor nose is criss-crossed with cat scratch scars. I keep their claws clipped as much as I can for that reason.... forget scratching furniture! I'm waorried about them taking Callie's eye out!
