    *Sigh* Another Surgery

I just left Dasher at the vet. He had his yearly vet visit 1 1/2 weeks ago. His ear was infected so they gave me drops and antibiotics for it. Well, he's been shaking his head and that's caused a hematoma in his ear that has to be removed. I was going to get his teeth cleaned in January so I'm taking care of that, too. Total of both visits: $750. I'm depressed. Was going to get a DSLR camera. Can't do it now. I cried on the way home worrying about Dasher having complications and not waking up from the operation. I'll be glad when I pick him up tomorrow.

I know how stressful it is to leave your baby overnight and worry about them.
I will keep Dasher in my thoughts tonight.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Oh, Val - maybe there will be some fabulous after-Christmas sales, and you'll be able to the DSLR as well as having a happy Dasher. Poor guy, give him a kiss on the top of his big ol' blockhead for me when you see him next, okay?

Thanks guys. Vet just called. He had to extract one k9 tooth. It was loose and had a bunch of hair blocked up in it. Yuck! I kknow he'll feel much better now with clean teeth and a fixed ear. And he is most important. That's why he's there. I pick him up tomorrow morning

I sure hope Dasher recovers quickly and that you're able to get your DSLR. What kind are you look at? I've been pricing some of the Nikons recently.

Val, I'm so sorry poor Dasher had to have surgery, but happy that everything turned out OK, especially the toothie. Ick. Best of all, he'll be with you on Christmas, the best gift ever, and feeling much better. Hugs to both of you.
