Poor boy. Prayers on the way.
He's home but my poor little semi feral guy is very scared and hiding under the bed. The vet was able to catch some urine over night and she's sent it out for a culture to determine exactly what it is. She said it would be Thursday before we get the results. His urine was filled with blood, poor little guy. In the meantime he's on a stronger antibiotic pill. Luckily I was able to wrap a soft Whisker Lickin treat around it and he ate it while hiding under the bed. Food is a motivator for him and I hope it stays that way.
This is the sick house. Richard is home from work for the second day with a bad virus. We thought it was the flu but the dr. said it's a cruddy virus going around. Poor guy has a fever of 101 right now. I'm just glad he doesn't feel the need to hide under the bed too, ha ha.
Thanks for the prayers for Decker. I will update when I hear back from the vet on Thursday.

Hopefully the medicine will have him feeling better asap.

I'm glad to hear that he's back home and hopefully the new medicine will clear him up quickly so he'll feel better soon. I also hope that Richard recovers quickly and feels better soon. I sure hope that you don't catch his bug.
I'm so sorry to hear about little Decker and sending lots of prayers and healing vibes to you and Decker. It's so stressful on we "hoomans" when our furbabies are sick. Hang in there and I'm sure the stronger meds will do the trick.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.
I hope that both Decker and Richard feel better in not time!!!! Let us know when you find out the results of the urine test. Hopefully, the results will just indicate a different antibiotic is needed. Then you guys can be back to normal in no time. Thougts and prayers going out to your family!!!
Sincerely,
Kat
