I wasn't able to watch the Duels...I was on the road for the first one and heard it on the radio, and waiting for a standby flight for the second, so I missed it completely, except watching the leaderboard on me cellphone for the last 2 laps. I am ready to watch some racing!!! The trucks are on track tonight and I can't wait!

With so many cars there to qual, it is hard. I am happy for Scott Riggs and AJ. I have nothing against Jeremy, but I find his wife annoying (from the TV interviews and shows I have seen with her). And I'm glad Clint Bowyer, Travis Kvapil, and Regan Smith got in. I hate to see Boris Said and Mike Wallace and Mike Skinner, Joe Nemeck and so many others go home...

There was a time that I couldn't stand Tony Steward but Now I find myself rooting for him. He showed how great he was as a driver with his win yesterday. # 9 is still my man but i hope Steward and Newman have a good showing their first year on their own.

We haven't had rain here in so long, I've forgotten when the last rainy day was. I can't believe we have a good chance of rain today.

It's extremely overcast but not raining at all yet. I am so hoping it waits until tonight.

    GO MARK!!!!!!!!!

For anyone that may have direct tv, they have free hot pass coverage today. The drivers are Kasey, Jimmie, Jr, and Carl.

    And so it begins...

I always look forward to the season starting and shortly into it, NASCAR does something to squash that enthusiasm. I don't like controversy, so I'll keep my opinions to myself.

I'm so excited that Mark Martin is racing full time this season and was really hoping he could pull off the win. All is well though because I can handle a win by Matt Kenseth.

    Congrats Matt!

P.S. My son was at the race today. I hope he had a good time and didn't get too wet.

Yeah, stinks that it was a rain out.

Was really hoping that Tony would pull it off. And I'm sure Jr. and Busch are gonna have words.

What a bummer. I don't mind Matt winning at all, however. It's still raining at my house and pretty hard at that. We really need it.

I missed the Jr. thing. What happened? I was going from one tv to the next and missed it.

It is interesting that Jr. didn't get the same penalty as Leffler did yesterday...

I would have like to see them run the last 48 laps, but I'll take an 8th for the first race. Tony's car was better then that though. Off to California....

I just noticed that HotPass is going to be free on Direct TV all season. This week's drivers are Kahne, Harvick, Junior and Carl Edwards.
