A few months ago there was a video on the news out of Toledo about a toddler who had been abused by someone where they shoved her head in a toilet then slammed the lid down on her head. It was someone who knew the mom b/c the dad got custody, I think.
that kid needs dropped off a couple story building. that would be comparable to the baby being thrown a few feet.

They don't mention the teen's parents in the story. What sticks to my mind is something we learned in school long ago...."violence begets violence". I'm sure this teen didn't learn this stuff by himself, sounds like he might have ben slammed around as a child himself. Nurtured kids never act this way , not that I've witnessed at least. But I have witnessed neglected, abused kids who are now acting out in the same way as adults.

Yes. The teen actually called it "watching a baby fly" I sure hope
the seriousness of this stupid act makes a lifetime impression on him. They
are saying, the baby appears to have no lasting injuries.

The baby was being baby-sat by the teens parents. They left the room and during that time the moron tossed the baby, when they heard the baby crying they came back into the room and asked why..the teen reported that the baby had fallen in between the pillow and chair.

I didn't watch the video. I can't seem to handle things like that any more. They stay in my mind for days. I honestly don't know what's happening in our world. It's as though there is a generation of mentally deficient kids now. Yes, I know, for every bad one there are dozens of good ones but to hear reports such as this makes me think that it's only going to get worse. Am I being pessimistic?

That idiot is exactly where he needs to be. The kid videotaping should be in the same cell.

Not sitting for a year is a start and no internet, phone etc is good too, but, this kid obviously has some serious issues, which makes me wonder where they came from.

It's a sad testiment of our times. That child wouldn't see the light of day for years if he were mine and I certainly wouldn't be able to show my face in public if my child acted in such a heinous manner.

I hope that kid is locked up till he's at least 21. The same for the kid who took the video. It amazes me what kids view as "funny" these days. I hear what kids say at school, things they laugh about, and it is just disgusting.

The video with the little girl getting her head slammed in the toilet... the mom being there during one of the tapings and saying she shouldn't be charged?! Who would allow that to be done to their child?? Something is seriously wrong with today's society.

OMG!! That video made me cry and my stomache to turn!! How disgusting!! I cannot begin to imagine why anyone no matter their age could possibly think that was funny!! I feeel sick to my stomache!
