Well I thought MOST of it was UGLY. And I usually think the same thing about the womens "big" fashion shows as well. I always think "who in the world would wear this stuff in everyday (or even evening wear) life??" Some of the stuff is just so outrageous it's ridiculous. But I guess I'm just not up on the fashion trends nowadays.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Those outfits look like they came from Goodwill truck accident.

Have you ever seen a news clip from an poor, underdeveloped country where the mission/human aid people pass out clothing?
Those poor people have better taste in fashion than the moron designers who put that overpriced crap together.

    -----------

The thing that drives me crazy is the friggin eye make up.

But, then I thought about the money the male models make....

Then, I thought about my poor old dad laughing at me and my career choice-and my pals seeing the pics....

No thanks, Halloween only comes once a year, and I am happy with that.

But, all the women love the Beckham undie ads.

Anorexic, pasty faced, effeminate, androgynous, recently released from a mental institution homeless people. However, I'll take that purple vest that #19 is wearing.

At least SOME of these remind me of past centuries where men wore tunics...and, hey, how come some male models are allowed to be OLDER THAN 15??? (I DID see white hair, I DID! )

"What were they thinking" is pretty much the pat reacting to "couture" shows. Thankfully, most of these items - for men and for women - are never meant to be worn by ordinary people, the designers are pushing the envelope and getting a reaction. The ready-to-wear stuff never makes headlines!

And, once you look for it, many of the male models look pretty darned undernourished - anorexia is not unheard of in men, just less publicized.

Most runway stuff in general to me is hideous. Just another form of "art", because no one would seriously ever wear any of that stuff off the runway (for the most part, anyway).

My two thoughts exactly Richard - Goodwill donations or Halloween. I don't even know anyone who would donate such horrible clothes to the Goodwill. Who would want to buy them? Some pathetic people will flock to get these clothes because they have the correct designer's name I guess. Sort of reminds me of the story The Emperor New Clothes!

No man I know would be caught dead in any of those things! And, you know, you all are right, some of those male models were everybit as anorexic as the female models we've all heard about. Really, really sad....I can't imagine that lifestyle.

Well, day 1 wasn't quite as bad. I guess by day 2 they were dragging designers (?) off the street.
