I really like the special markings on your leg, Oscar! It makes you look very distinctive, and what a distinguished gentleman you are as all the neighbors will agree. Be sure when you make your rounds for treats that you tell them this is your special day as COTD and they will probably give you bigger portions, eh? What a wonderful birthday gift you were!

Hehehee, hey Oscar, you lick your dish until it sparkles? I guess you aren't related to Oscar Madison of the Odd Couple, ha haa. Sound more like Felix Unger in that regard.

You are very loved, I can tell because someone special asked for a kitty and now, all this time later is still in love with you. What a lucky birthday that was as you found you way to your furever home! Now please, keep out of the tinsel as that can give you serious tummy problems if you eat any of it by mistake.

Now, as you celebrate this huge honor, please enjoy some chin rubs and a wee bit of catnip (I won't ask for any treats for you as you seem to get plenty of those from the neighbors!) And have a great day as our Cat of the Day!
