    Cool Girl 2002,

NO! NO! Do not ever ever give your dog chocolate! Chocolate can be poison to dogs and cats (I think).

My dog ate chocolate once (stole it) but thank god he didn't eat enough to get him sick.....he did have the runs for days though!

    Did your dog eat chocolate?

this is sort of on subject, but can dogs eat tuna? my mom's dog wasn't alowed to be in the room when we ate some.

I'm not to sure about tuna, don't think it will hurt them but I do know the juice from the tuna can is very very good for their coats and bones. My dogs get tuna juice all the time!!

NEVER give a dog chocolate. You don't know how many dogs and cats (and other pets) have come in with problems because of chocolate. I've even had to put them to sleep half the time. A dog eating chocolate is like a human drinking a snake's venom. As for the tuna, too much is bad, but you can still give a dog some once in a while. Too much table food for dogs is really bad for them. It can make them really fat, and then they can get diseases such as arthritis from it. But just giving them a little bit every so often is fine.

I give my dogs Peanut butter fairly often.
In a Kong, to hide a pill, to distract while I put on their flea meds...

Or just because they love it!
(I'm so mean cuz I will sometimes put a little on their nose and watch them try to get it off. Usually they just lick it off the others nose instead! )

Also, they get yogurt and eggs and tuna juice mixed w/ their kibble on occasion, too.
Mostly just plain yogurt and eggs, though.

    Peanut Butter

I use to put peanut butter in Deisel's kong and freeze it. It was to keep him entertained when we went out and couldn't take him. He loved it!!! Although I would give him some when we were home too and boy was it funny, Deisel trying to get the peanut butter out of the kong. Don't have a pic of that but wish I did now!!

    Peanut Butter

We got Cookie used to brushing by giving her peanut butter on a spoon and lick it off. It worked within two days. I also give her pills in peanut butter.

The worst for dogs is baking or pure chocolate. If you want to give your dog some kind of chocolate, than buy the special dog treats. But, even there many dogs get stomach problems.

I know somebody that has a dog and it is twice as big as it is suppose to be... because all "Taco" eats is table scraps! Oh no!
