abandoned pup advice please *Semi Urgent*

Basically I got a pup dumped in my shop today. I know how to feed her but she hasn't seemed to be going to the toilet much. Shes pee'd a few times but nothing else.

I know I need to stimulate the movements but not 100% if im doing it right?

I've read that I need to rub the area with a warm cloth?

Any advice with how to look after her would be hugely appreciated.

She is only 3 weeks old and quite dehydrated but shes taking lactol very well.

I've tried googling for the answers but I'm not getting much for pups. Probabaly not using the right terms or something!?

    Thanks.

I found this http://www.brockwellvets.co.uk/pet-info.php They do have a section on rearing newborn dogs. I don't know if they have anything specific to your problem though. I also see that they have an emergency phone number you can call (I know that it is quite late there). Good luck.

I suggest phoning local vets, see if one of them has a client with a nursing mother dog. Then try and get this pup to add to her litter, at least for a time. Also try local rescues, they may know of a nursing mom dog.

    Best wishes caring for her!

Shes doing great thanks, Shes so much more active today.

Shes also found a new home when shes old enough, The vet has told us that shes fine to be weaned on to soft meats now too. She seems to be more into eating from a plate so I think whoever had her before may of been feeding her this way.
