Bear got dry pads last winter. He didn't get really bad until recently this year. I can't remember what we did for them last year, so I will have to ask at work again on Friday. I'll post what the vet recommends if you'd like.

I have a hairless cat (Sphynx) who has dry patches of skin. I use Udder Creme on them. It's all natural and can be used on animals. Works well.

I think anything you put on the paws could encourage them to lick the paws, and dry them out more. Donna, is the udder creme like a vasoline? I could see manipulating that into the paws for a few minutes....and seeing if the cat would leave it alone.
