At our Belgian coast, there is a huge difference between high tide and low tide; I find this fascinating! I am so happy I can view this wonder of nature every day in Ostend! I am wondering if this happens elsewhere too. I remember that in France the difference between high and low tide is only a few metres!

I was going to mention the Bay of Fundy. I've never seen tide variations like yours, Lut, except for those in the Bay.I wonder if anyone on PT lives near the Bay of Fundy. Now THOSE are some tides on steroids!
