A puppy for the Layne household? Chihuahua babies inside!

Well, very soon the Layne household may have a new addition! My aunt breeds chi's, and awhile back she agreed to let me adopt one.. (he had brain damage from birth). He passed away the night before I was to adopt him.

Now this is her last litter before her last 2 dogs get fixed (YAY!) and only two of the 5 puppies survived. I am not 100% sure I am going to get one, it is all according to how much money she needs to recoop and get her bills caught up... BUT there is a VERY good chance me and my husband will adopt one!

Now, my major decision is, which one do I want? My husband loves the Black one, and I, LOVE LOVE LOVE the chocolate one. So what do we do? They are both terrific puppies! What do you think? Which one would you want?


One is Chocolate and one is black and tan.... They are still only 4 weeks old, so they have atleast 3-4 more weeks before adoption time. The chocolate is VERY tiny, and we think only will weigh about 3-4 pounds. The black and tan is shorter and much stockier, and will probably weigh more like 6-8 pounds....

Oh my goodness! They are so cute! Good luck in your decision, but I of course, would pick the chocolate one. I'm really starting to fall in love with Chihuahuas.

Aw, yes, the chocolate one grabbed me right away. I am glad to her she is having her dogs spayed.

If I were going to pick one by looks it would be the chocolate because you really don't see many that color.
But I'd pick one by the attitude.

I'm usually all about black and tan...well.... black and tan anythings but that lil chocolate one is adorable.
