Nova, Luka, and Buck, all taken with my new lens (*7 new pictures*)

... or really, the lens is being rented. But I'm liking it a lot so far!

Nova being patient with me while I make her keep her head down in the grass

    Such a sweetie

Nova being a goofball with me, pay no attention to the wrinkled backdrop

All three, trying out a "tilt" technique to give some pizazz to my boring backyard photos

    Buck and Luka

One more of Nova ... I kept playing with it in photoshop. Love her pose but the photo got messed up by the harsh lighting so I tried to make it more artsy. Not sure if I like it or not.

And one of Buck from yesterday. I couldn't decide if I liked it better in color or black and white.

Those are all beautiful, as always, Sarah. I like the first tilted one and the coloured one of Buck the best.

I always love seeing your photos (and your dogs) I like the tilt idea. And I like the last one in B&W better. I love the lighting in that one of Nova.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.

Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Oh, I so envy your talent (and equipment!). I also like the black and white one of Buck; it has a beautiful range of value!

Great pictures. Gorgeous dogs. I couldn't decide between the b&w or the color one of Buck. They both are great for different reasons.

Those are wonderful pictures with the "rented" lens!
You know what would be really cute, is if you did the tilted effect with Buck doing the head tilt. It would look like he knows the camera is tilted and wants his head upright.
