"I can see clearly now", the cataract's GONE!

I just had a check-up at the eye doctors this afternoon and now my sight is 20/20!! I can read fine print now, drive without squinting, read PT much better, and overall I can see everything clearer and colors are much brighter. For the first time in three and a half years, I CAN REALLY SEE!!

Did you have a "check-up" or a "Procedure" done?

I'm thinking that David had a laser procedure to remove a "secondary cataract." Sometimes there is a cloudy membrane behind the new intraocular lens implant (secondary cataract) and that has to be *lasered* to get full clear vision. I think David will agree that it was a piece of cake and I'm very glad to hear how happy he is with the results!

That's exactly what I had done. It was the easiest procedure I've ever had. I'm so happy that I'm trying to read all of the fine print I can find!

haha! David, you sound like me with wanting to test everything out! Sort of along different lines, but when I got my first SUV I looked for the biggest snow drift to drive through!

I am glad you are seeing so well. Most of us will get cataracts if we live long enough. At my last eye exam my doctor (who is also my boss ) said I had the beginning of very mild cataracts in both eyes too.
