    My three new hens. *new pics Post #8*

    Today I went and picked up 3 new hens. I a trying to increase my egg production. They are Auracauna mixed breeds. Real sweeties too!

    The pics arent great, cause it was dark out.

    They are beautiful! I love the colors of all three. With any luck i'll be bringing home a frizzle turken soon. lol All I know is that he/she is injured and very skinny.


    Zoe and Oliver you will always be missed wait for me at the bridge babies.

    ooo....good luck!! I sure hope you can help this one, like the last one. My son wants to get a turken, he loves them! Maybe Next year!

    They're gorgeous! Aren't Auracaunas the ones that lay greenish eggs? Will these three lay greenish eggs too?

    Yes, Auracanas lay the green eggs. Not sure which color these will lay, it all depens on if the Rooster was the Auracana, as supposedly the Males have the dominant genes. Will have to wait and see in about another month.
