The light was phantastic today, and the sky so dramatic (2 new pics in #12)

This evening, there was such a quick change in the weather. Dark clouds which looked very dramatic, and a clear blue sky the next moment. Grabbed my camera and drove out of town, to take some photos in the fields which were glowing bright in the last sunlight before the rain came.

And this time, the photos are not digitally altered, the sky really looked like that!

And these two were taken last weekend, when the light was also great:

Can't help it, but I just love these rural landscape pics!

I absolutely love your photographing style! You take some of the most amazing photos I've ever seen! The scenery is, of course, perfect, but you capture it like few can! Good job!!!

Great shots Kirsten! I particualrly like the ones with the dark clouds behind - and the lighting is SO important.

    Thank you.

Wow, just learnt that there was a tornado in Germany today, not even 200 km south from here, near Frankfurt/Main. Did some damage to houses from what I read. Scary!

Amazing photos, I love them! You are such an awesome photographer!

...Germany gets tornados? I lived there for two years and nothing exciting like that ever happened! lol. Although I was pretty young and don't remember much. But I probably would have remembered a tornado.

    Anyway.

    Love the photos

    Thanks!

Well, we got a few of those in the last couple of years, but of course you cannot compare them to the big ones in the Southern parts of the USA. But it's scary though, as it seems to happen more often now. The oceans are getting warmer, which causes more heat and humidity all over Europe. And this results eventually in heavier storms than we used to have in previous years...

Wow once again you took such amazing pictures! We had those dark clouds like that here yesterday, it thundered all day, but it was so beautiful.

Thanks for sharing again, they are always so beautiful.

What stunning pics! I just love the first one of the wheat and the next to last one of the landscape. The lighting on the field is just amazing. You live in a very beautiful area and your camera takes pics with such clarity. I always love seeing your work. You should sell some of these.

Thanks! Well, the weather is really fascinating here at the moment; I think it makes each landscape look special. But it's true that these rural areals have their own beauty, and I love to try to capture it. But there are many people with better cameras and better skills, who do that much better than I do. Honestly.

    Thanks!

Here are two more from last Saturday, just "framed" them:

BTW, fotocommunity.de is full with pictures like this, many photographers took photos of that kind. The sky must have been very special all over Germany last weekend!

There is no "skill"* in the photos you take. It is raw TALENT, the stuff you were born with! My goodness, lovely shots!
