Happy Birthday King... / Roses for King

This is the first birthday since you were born that I am with out your physical presence. I miss you dearly, but I want to honor your memory happily. The way you always wanted everyone to be.

I'd love to post a picture of you in the snow as i know it was your favorite, but i know you also loved and respected summer for everything that it meant to the world.

    Request:
Could anyone reading this please post a small picture or icon of a rose for Kingy's birthday, the first day of Summer? They were one of his favorite things in life. He'd stop to smell them on our walks. Not to hike his leg on, but for the simple enjoyment there of. He'd get a really peaceful look on his face and just stand there with his eyes close. Everything around him radiated peace when he was smelling a rose.

This would have been his 17th. I think this year I'd get him a red plaid ribbon for his leash. (Every year since i thought of the idea i made him a tag and matching ribbon to decorate his leash with. Then we'd go to the pet shops and get him a treat or two and he got to interact with the other friendly dogs. Last year was a purple and gold ribbon, and the year before was teal. I can't remember before that.)

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

If these won't work, I can delete them. I took this out in California last summer in Miz Gini's garden, on a Pet Talk trip.
    RIP King, you are missed.

Here are some icons. I wasn't sure what color you'd like, so I put many different ones.

That was sweet to read about how King loved to smell the roses. I could picture it in my mind. Beautiful.
    Rest easy King.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Thank you everyone for those roses and kind words. I'm sure King liked each and every one of them. I really had no idea what color to request as he liked so many of them.

(pssst... Shais mom, we were brother and sis. ;-) )
