Before and After pics?

The Kitten pic thread got me to wondering just what the difference in Churchy is, not only in size but in appearance and health also. I didn't realize he was so little in the one of him that I shared until I came across it again. I took one of him today on the same stool as a size reference and OH MY GOODNESS have there been changes!

In this first one, he's a year old and fresh from getting neutered. He was covered in mats (it took me 2 weeks to get them all and I had to cut most of them out) and he was wormy and very thin, but the vet said he weighed 10.5 lbs. If you notice though, he still has the kitten face. Look at him in the stool, he looks too small and young to be 1 year old.


This one is today. He's almost 2 years old now, he's more than doubled his weight, there's no worms and he's loving life! According to the vet, he's not done growing yet...and look, he's grown so much that his rump hangs off, lol.


He also wanted me to show you that he is indeed mat free...


Anyway, do you have some dramatic before and afters like that? I'd love to see them!

To Me The Found Cats Look Alike As None Were Tiny Kittens When They Came Here, But I Will Look To See If I Can Find One Wheres Theres A Difference.
I Have One Of A Young Princess Pillow Photo Seated Beside The Princess Now.
Thats One Of My Better Ones, I Just Have To Find It In 2000 Photos.

Wow! What a difference. He's so handsome. If he has some Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat in him then he'll continue to grow and mature for about 4-5 more years.

I don't have good kitten/adult photos either. Cassie was 18 months old when she came to me.

aww! All these pics are so adorable! And every kitty has definately grown up to be beautiful cats I have some of my bobo, but I will have to get them scanned seeing as they are old and not on computer. I'll get them and post them

The vet says he's most likely Maine Coon, even though there's no way to tell for sure, that's what I tell everybody...because it shouldn't make a difference really since he's not papered and will not be having any offspring.

I cannot express how badly I want a Norwegian Forest Cat! However, I will not buy one and since all three of us here have allergies to cats, the limit is three at a time since that's what we appear to be able to handle...unless we get some hairless wonders, lol.
Please nobody take offense to that, I love the baldy's too... Somebody here had a baldy "moonshot" that I adored!

Sky was just as gorgeous shaved as she is with all the beautiful fur! And Sunny, is the orangiest orange I have ever seen! He's like sherbet...

All these babies are beautiful...keep it up! They don't have to be kitten photos, I was wanting to see the differences after they came into your lives...before they had you and after they stole your heart.
