Spring time is here! (some photos)

Nothing special, but as my doctor told me to try to relax and do some things I like, I thought I'd try to take some photos. Within the couple of days, the entire world turned into green here, and it is this beautiful fresh lightgreen that I really like.

    Look:

These two were taken last weekend, the roofs of my hometown:

This, however, is also a part of the sunny season:

Oh yes, the sky is extremely blue these days, there's nothing photoshopped in these pictures!

And yes, I can take photos of the same spots, it's the forest behind my parents restaurant, which is here. I also took the photos of the roofs from there.

I just love it when the sky is that deep blue with no clouds. That's my favorite sky. And the town shots are charming. They're my favorite.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Kristen these are awesome. It was fun seeing your home town. I love the unusual architecture in Germany. It is different than anything here in the US. Your lilacs are ahead of mine. Of course with the warm weather come the bees but they are beautiful aren't they? Thank you for treating us to your photos. Your photography is excellent.

Great pictures!! The one of the bee gave me chills though.
I also like how you captured a bee in flight in the second picture.
I love other countries architecture. It fascinates me! Thanks for sharing these lovely photos. I hope it is helping you feel better.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Your spring is far, far ahead of mine - my lilacs are just showing the very beginning of leaves - leaf buds less than half an inch along!

Great pictures, hope they made you smile like they did the rest of us!

I was going to say exactly what Pam said, we have nothing like that here, I just love the architecture. I went to Germany in 1982 and it is so pretty.

Kirsten, this could be a picture postcard! I love it! Especially the turret of the building just to the left of center, and the trim along the roof on the building just to the right of center. May I show this to co-workers?
