My deepest sympathies to you and your family, Captain. We went through a similar situation with my mother in law and it is the most painful thing to watch. It's good that you were all able to be with him.

I lost my dad to cancer a few years ago and can feel your pain. I'm so sorry. My regards to you and your family.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    Michelle,

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that, in time, you can remember happier times with your dad, when he was pain free.

I am so glad you were with him at the end - it must have been so hard for you, but such a wonderful comfort for him.

Thanks Kay for my great sig & avatar!!!
