    I rescued a dog -pic-

I haven't had time to post about this until now.

On my way to work, I found this austrialian mix dog. He was roaming in the middle of the highway. so I pull over to call him over to my car. He jumps right in. We put a found ad in the paper. A week later the owner calls our house saying his daughter saw the ad in the paper.. So we drive to his house to give him his dog. His family were soo excited to see him.

His name was Mikey. He had started digging in their yard when he digged his way out.

They were really good people and I am glad to have helped out in returning their dog.

Mikey was such a good dog. We was going to keep him if his owners didn't show up because he absolutley loved my 9 month old brother. We spoiled Mikey so much when he was with us that week. He went walking, given a bath, and went on rides.

Here is a picture of him. I am proud to have met him.

Awww, what a beautiful Aussie pup!! I am so glad the owners were found. I hope they fix their backyard so it is dig-proof. Next time he may not be so lucky to have someone like you come along and save him. You did a great thing for him.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

    I agree. He is handsome.

I would have done it for any dog and will do it again. I usually forget to take pictures of the dogs I rescue soo I never post about them.. He was just to gorgeous not to take a picture of.. I just love his eyes.. They are half white.
